The Role:
As the Platform and Data Proposition Manager, you will own the customer facing road map for our platform (Juniper Portal) and data (Juniper Intelligence) services, ensuring that interoperability across our product portfolio delivers real value to customers and satisfies genuine needs. You will be a strong advocate and voice for our customers, soliciting and acting on their feedback to improve the Juniper platform for all users.
Key Responsibilities
- Proposition Development & Execution Support the Chief Solution Architect to develop the over-arching platform proposition, strategy, and roadmaps.
- Execute proposition strategies across Juniper Portal, Juniper Intelligence and Connected Apps, ensuring alignment with customer needs, market demands and business objectives.
- Support proposition product managers to develop roadmaps and detailed plans to integrate their products and data into the platform and ecosystem.
- Oversee the execution of initiatives to integrate key products and services into the platform.
- Monitor progress, address challenges, and adjust as needed to keep initiatives on track.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure they have a clear understanding of the platform’s capabilities, integrations, and value propositions.
- Work closely with Operations, Support and Account Management teams to ensure that customers enjoy a smooth and well supported transition into the Juniper ecosystem.
- Collaborate with Pricing and Finance teams to develop accurate “Cost of Service” models and optimise pricing strategies.
- Product Strategy & road maps Define and maintain product road maps for Juniper Portal and Juniper Intelligence, ensuring alignment with overall product and proposition strategy.
- Support the development of road maps for existing products that will connect into the Juniper Ecosystem.
- Translate strategic goals into actionable initiatives which are prioritised based on customer impact and business value.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Operations, Data, UI/UX to deliver high quality products.
- Contribute to long-term portfolio planning by identifying gaps, risks and opportunities for innovation.
- Customer & Market Insights Gather and analyse customer feedback, market trends and competitive insights to inform decisions about platform direction.
- Work closely with UX/UI teams to develop customer-centric designs and experiences that can be uniformly applied to all 1st party products in our ecosystem.
- Leverage data and analytics to measure platform performance and inform continuous improvements.
- Delivery & Operational Excellence Define clear product requirements, epics, and success metrics for product development teams.
- Ensure effective collaboration with Engineering, ensuring timely and high-quality product delivery.
- Support Agile processes, ensuring continuous iteration and improvement based on user feedback and performance data.
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing to develop clear and compelling product positioning and messaging.
- Provide Sales teams with product insights, customer use cases and competitive differentiation.
- Contribute to the creation of sales ennoblement materials such as battle cards, FAQs and presentations.
- Deliver product training and demos to ensure Sales teams have a deep understanding of joined up product and platform capabilities.
- Stakeholder Management & Communication Advocate and evangelise the virtues of our Join Up strategy to stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Act as the bridge between business, technology, and customers, ensuring stakeholder needs are considered in platform decisions.
- Communicate platform strategy, priorities, and progress to key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Work closely with product and proposition teams to ensure that we maximise the value of joining up.
- Personal Development & Growth Stay informed on emerging trends within EdTech, technology and customer expectations to influence platform and ecosystem direction.
- Continuously improve knowledge of product management best practices, tools, and methodologies.
Attributes & Personal Skills:
The ideal candidate would have previous experience in:
- Former developer/engineer, who has moved towards Product.
- Mix of start-up experience, and in larger organizations who may have done some M&A, or other consolidations.
- Reporting to exec level stakeholders; but strong communication skills for audiences at all levels would be essential.
- Ability to work strategically and pragmatically.
- Logical, analytical, and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influence at all levels.
Knowledge of foreign languages:
Proficiency in English at least level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
