Senior DevOps Engineer
The role
We are seeking a talented Senior DevOps Engineer to take ownership of the design, implementation, automation, and operational reliability of our infrastructure and platform services across cloud environments. You will play a key role in ensuring production systems are secure, reliable, and scalable, while supporting engineering teams and mentoring junior colleagues.
You will work independently and collaboratively, making critical technical decisions and driving improvements across infrastructure, CI/CD, platform security, and production reliability.
What you’ll be doing
Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and platform services
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using approved tooling
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of production systems
Lead infrastructure improvements and platform standardisation efforts
Review and approve infrastructure and deployment changes
Troubleshoot complex production incidents and platform failures
Collaborate with SRE and engineering teams on performance and reliability improvements
Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions
Optimise infrastructure usage and resource efficiency
Contribute to platform security best practices
Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
Follow company policies related to security, availability, and change management
What we’re looking for
Strong experience with Linux systems in production environments
Significant hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
Solid experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Experience with container platforms and orchestration systems (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools
Strong scripting or programming skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Go)
Experience operating production systems at scale
Ability to work independently, make technical decisions, and lead platform improvements
